For those of you who have been directly affected by these events, writing your reactions down should provide an outlet for your frustrations. Find a time and place when things are quiet and write away. Who knows your observations may turn into a wonderful collection of poetry or a book when things are more settled in your life. Don't say you don't know how to do this, find out.
In the meantime you can go to the CDC website and find a lot of suggestions about how to cope with these events from an emotional standpoint. We can receive physical help, but sometimes a little aid for our mind and emotions is good, too. Here's the link: http://1.usa.gov/lxhjLu. Pass this on to friends and loved ones, anyone, who has been directly affected by these disasters or those who have assisted those affected by them.
Let's all hope, in our own way, the disasters will decrease and our world can continue into the future unharmed. Taking action to alter our course, rebuild, modify, or transform the circumstances should follow, these should be our next steps.
